The general questions
What does MIVIRI Technologies actually do?
We're a full-service technology partner. Teams hire us to build AI systems, custom software, and websites; migrate and run cloud infrastructure; secure their systems; turn data into dashboards; and grow demand through marketing and branding. You can engage one service or a combined team.
How do projects typically start?
With a free consultation. We spend 30–45 minutes understanding your goals, then send a short proposal with scope, timeline, and a fixed or sprint-based price. No obligation, and you keep the recommendations either way.
How much does a project cost?
Small engagements (audits, landing pages, AI pilots) typically start in the low five figures. Larger platforms are priced per sprint after discovery. Every proposal shows exactly what you're paying for — we don't do vague estimates.
Can you work with our in-house team?
Yes, and we prefer it. We regularly embed with internal engineering and marketing teams, follow your workflows, and hand over documented, maintainable work your team can own.
Do you offer support after launch?
Every project includes a warranty period, and most clients continue with a monthly support and optimization plan covering monitoring, updates, security patches, and a prioritized improvement backlog.
Is our data safe with you?
We sign NDAs before discovery, follow least-privilege access to your systems, and never use your data to train models without written consent. Security review is part of our definition of done on every project.
Questions specific to each service
Artificial Intelligence
We're not sure where AI fits in our business. Can you help us figure that out?
That's exactly what our AI consulting engagement is for. We map your processes, estimate the cost and payback of each candidate use case, and give you a ranked roadmap. If nothing clears the bar, we tell you that too.
Will our data be used to train public models?
No. We architect around your data boundary — private endpoints, your cloud tenancy where required, and written agreements that your data is never used for training without explicit consent.
How long does a first AI project take?
A scoped pilot typically ships in 4–8 weeks: one process, one measurable target, production-grade from day one so a successful pilot can scale instead of being rebuilt.
Software Development
Fixed price or time and materials?
Both, honestly scoped. Discovery produces a fixed-price plan for well-defined work; evolving products run on sprint-based pricing with a backlog you control and can stop at any sprint boundary.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes. We start with a paid audit — architecture, security, test coverage, deployment — then a stabilization plan before adding features. You get the audit report whether or not you continue with us.
Who owns the code?
You do. Full IP assignment, your repositories from day one, no license fees back to us.
Web Development
How long does a website project take?
A focused marketing site ships in 3–6 weeks; e-commerce and portals typically run 6–12 weeks depending on integrations. You see the design direction in week one.
Can we edit content ourselves after launch?
Yes — we wire content to an editing workflow that fits your team, from structured data files to a full headless CMS, and train your team before handover.
Do you migrate existing sites without losing SEO?
Yes. We map every URL, preserve or redirect rankings-bearing pages, and monitor Search Console through the cutover. SEO protection is part of the migration checklist, not an afterthought.
Cloud Services
Can you migrate us without taking systems offline?
Yes — that's the default plan, not a premium option. We run parallel environments, migrate in phases, and schedule cutovers inside your quiet windows with tested rollback at each stage.
We're overspending on cloud. Where do you start?
With a spend audit: two weeks, read-only access, and a report of concrete savings ranked by effort. Most clients find 20–40% — the audit pays for itself or it's free.
Do you offer ongoing management?
Yes. Managed cloud plans cover monitoring, patching, incident response, and a monthly optimization review — with response times in writing.
Cyber Security
Is penetration testing safe for our production systems?
Yes — scope, methods, and timing are agreed in writing before we start, destructive techniques are excluded, and testing is scheduled around your business hours with a live abort channel.
How often should we test?
At minimum annually and after major changes. Most clients run an annual full test plus quarterly automated scanning — we'll recommend a cadence based on your risk profile, not our revenue.
Can you help after a security incident?
Yes. We help contain, investigate, and recover, then harden what failed. If you're mid-incident now, contact us directly rather than filling in a form.
Data & Analytics
Our data is a mess across six systems. Is that a problem?
It's the normal starting point. The first phase of every engagement is mapping sources and fixing quality at the pipeline level — you don't need clean data to start, you need it to finish.
Power BI or Tableau?
Usually whichever your team already licenses. Where you're choosing fresh, Power BI wins on Microsoft-stack cost, Tableau on visual analytics depth — we'll recommend based on your stack and users.
How long until we see the first dashboard?
A first working dashboard on live data typically lands in 3–4 weeks. We ship one decision-critical view early rather than a big-bang reveal months later.
Digital Marketing
How long before SEO shows results?
Technical fixes often move rankings within weeks; competitive content programs take 3–6 months to compound. We set milestone expectations in the proposal so you can hold us to them.
Do you require long contracts?
No. Programs run month to month after an initial 3-month foundation phase. We keep clients with results, not lock-ins.
Can you work alongside our in-house marketer?
Ideal, actually. We handle the specialist work — technical SEO, paid ops, analytics — while your team keeps the brand voice and customer knowledge.
Branding
How long does a rebrand take?
Strategy and identity typically run 6–10 weeks; full rollout depends on how many touchpoints you have. We plan the rollout so nothing customer-facing looks half-changed.
We just need a logo. Is that too small?
We take focused engagements — but a logo without positioning is decoration. Our smallest package pairs a compact strategy sprint with the identity, so the design decisions have reasons.
What do we receive at the end?
Every file in every format, the brand guidelines document, and the working files — you own all of it outright.
Creative Services
Can you work within our existing brand?
Yes — most creative engagements extend an existing identity. We follow your guidelines where they exist and quietly document the gaps where they don't.
Do you do one-off projects or ongoing retainers?
Both. One-off projects (a deck, a video, a site design) are fixed-price; teams with steady needs use a monthly creative retainer with a rolling backlog.
How does UI/UX design connect to development?
Designers and engineers work in the same sprint. Designs are specified against the real component library, so what you approve is what ships.
